Lucknow: Former BJP block chief Ram Bilas Rawat along with his three colleagues had gone to the Tilak of Rajkumar Lodhi’s son in Teji Kheda village of Kakori (Lucknow Crime news) on Friday. As soon as he came out of the venue at around 9.30 pm, Monu Rawat, his brother Akhilesh, Bablu Lodhi, Rinku Lodhi, Giani Lodhi and Shri Krishna Rawat from the village reached there and started abusing and opened fire. Ram Bilas Rawat, Jai Karan, Anant Ram and Chhotu fell as soon as the bullets hit them. There was a commotion due to the rapid firing of bullets. All the local people hurriedly took everyone to the hospital.
Elderly dead, one seriously injured
It is being told that Anant Ram Yadav (60) alias Amit died in this bullet incident. The bullet narrowly missed Jaikaran’s head. While Chhotu has been shot in the hand. Both were discharged after first aid. Ram Bilas Rawat was hit by bullets in his stomach and waist. His condition is said to be serious. A pistol and shells have been recovered from the incident site. Investigation was conducted by the forensic team on the spot. The accused are being searched.
