The price of LPG cylinder has been reduced. Yes…you heard it right…this reduction has happened even before January 1st. On Friday, LPG cylinder became cheaper by Rs 39.50 from the country’s capital Delhi to Patna. However, oil companies have made this reduction only in 19 kg commercial cylinders. There has been no change in the price of domestic cylinder. From 22nd December i.e. today, Indane commercial cylinder is being made available to the customers in Delhi for Rs 1757. Earlier it was being given for Rs 1796.50.
The price of commercial LPG cylinder was increased on December 1.
Talking about Kolkata, a 19 kg cylinder is now available for Rs 1868.50. From December 1 to December 21, it was being given to customers for Rs 1908. Now in the business city of Mumbai, the same cylinder is being given for Rs 1710 instead of Rs 1749. From today onwards, LPG cylinder is being given cheaper by Rs 39.50 in Chennai and is being sold at Rs 1929. It should be noted that the price of commercial LPG cylinder was increased in the beginning of this month i.e. on 1st December. Earlier on November 16, a 19 kg LPG cylinder had become costlier by more than Rs 100.
Is there any change in domestic LPG cylinder also?
After the reduction in commercial LPG cylinder prices, people are wanting to know about domestic LPG cylinders. The question coming in their mind is whether there has been any change in the domestic LPG cylinder also? So let us tell you that no changes have been made in the domestic LPG cylinder. 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is being given at the same price at which you were getting it till 21st December.
How much is domestic electricity cylinder available?
It is noteworthy that on August 30, 2023, the price of domestic LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 200. According to the update given on the website of Indian Oil, even today 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders are being given to consumers at the same rate as on August 30. In the capital Delhi it is Rs 903 per cylinder, whereas in Kolkata consumers are getting it for Rs 929. In the business city of Mumbai, a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is available to the people for Rs 902.50.
