Lord Jagannath recovered after 15 days of illness, gave darshan to devotees

Agra. Shri Jagannath Bhagwan, who was ill for 15 days, has now recovered. He appeared to his devotees on the occasion of Nayan Utsav. During this, a huge crowd of devotees was seen in the ISKCON temple of Agra. On Monday, Chappan Bhog will be organized in Shri Jagannath Temple and on June 20, Shri Jagannath Lord will leave for the city tour on a chariot. During this, hundreds of domestic and foreign devotees will participate in his Rath Yatra.

The temple premises resounded with the cheers of the devotees.

After 15 days, the doors of Lord Jagannath were opened with raising hands, chanting Hari Bol and with a smile on the lips and the sparkle of reverence in the eyes and conch shell. As soon as the doors were opened, the temple premises resounded with the cheers of the devotees. Wearing white clothes and adorned with mogra flowers, Shri Jagannath was always anxious to see Lord Jagannath with sister Subhadra and brother Balabhadra. Today, every devotee had cooked a dish from his own kitchen and brought it for Shri Hari who got up from illness.

56 types of rice made for Shri Jagannath

Due to illness, for 15 days, Bhagwan was consuming only medicines and fruits. But as soon as he got well, 56 types of rice were prepared for him in the temple kitchen today. In which there were jaggery rice, rice cooked in sugarcane juice, sugar rice, faded rice, salted rice and many other types of rice. Whose bhog was offered to Shri Jagannath ji. And along with this, the devotees also brought Dhokla, Kachori, Puri, Mathri, Paratha and different types of vegetables, Rasgulla, Barfi etc. dishes from their own kitchen.

Decorated the temple premises with two quintals of flowers

Devotees were engaged in the decorations from last night itself for the Nayan Utsav at Shri Jagannath Temple today. For the last one week, the work of painting was going on in the temple. The temple premises were decorated with two quintals of flowers after cleaning the temple overnight. In the evening, when the sun’s light dimmed, twinkling lights started shining everywhere. For 15 days, anxious devotees were seen waiting every moment to have the darshan of Lord Jagannath.

Rath Yatra will be taken out on June 20

On June 20, the Rath Yatra of Lord Shri Jagannath will be taken out. This chariot will start from Balkeshwar Mahadev Temple and while traveling in Kamla Nagar area, the yatra will stop at Shri Jagannath Temple located in Rashmi Nagar. In the Rath Yatra, all the devotees will pull the chariot of Lord Jagannath with their own hands. The chariot on which Lord Jagannath will sit is decorated with white horses. The chariot will be decorated with Kadamba, Vaijayanti, Mogra, Malti, Orchid, Anthurium flowers.
