Loot of Rs 4.50 lakh from ration businessman returning from Hazaribagh, police starts investigation

Two criminals riding a bike looted a bag containing Rs 4.50 lakh from ration businessman Navneet Kumar (32), living near Piska Mod in Ranchi Sukhdevnagar police station area and fled away. The incident took place on November 30 at around 8:20 pm near BIT turn in BIT OP area. The aggrieved businessman has lodged an FIR in this matter in BIT OP, on the basis of which the police has started investigation.

In the written complaint given in BIT OP on November 1, the businessman has told that he works in wholesale ration supply. Every week he goes to Hazaribagh by bus for Tagada and returns to Ranchi by bus. Even on 30th November, he had gone to Hazaribagh by bus for Tagada. On return he returned to Ranchi by bus. He had a bag in his hand, which was filled with about Rs 4.50 lakh. He got down from the bus near BIT turn at 8:20 pm. At the same time, two criminals riding a bike came near him and snatched the bag full of money from his hand and ran away.

Police examining CCTV footage:

Based on the information given by the businessman, the police is scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed at various places to track the criminals. Meanwhile, senior police officers have formed a team under the leadership of Sadar DSP to investigate the incident. Policemen from the technical branch have been included in this team. At the same time, the police say that if the incident is true, then the criminals have carried out this incident with planning after Reiki.
