But, as times changed, the preferences of leaders and workers also changed. Leaders are leaders, now even the followers of the leaders do not want to ride on outdated vehicles. This is the reason why the demand for new model luxury vehicles has increased significantly in this election.

The parties may be different, but the preferences of the workers are more or less the same. Anyway, the mood of Purnia is a little different from other districts. Whatever may happen, a luxury car is definitely needed to board the train. This is the reason that except for one or two segments, all the other expensive vehicles will be seen on the roads.
Car owner Ashok Kumar says that he has three hired cars. Among these there is one Bolero and two Sumo. But, his car was not taken for the election campaign only because all the cars are five years old. He says that generally all the political parties are considering Bolero as outdated.
There are many categories of workers’ preferences also. Those who have their own car, want a Scorpio or its parallel luxury car. Similarly, workers who ride bikes every day want Sumo and Scorpio and for those who do not have a car, anything will do. Here, the words of the leaders are unique. He has already been using an expensive car.

These include new Scorpio, Safari, Innova and other vehicles. New vehicles have been procured from ministers to sentries. Booking campaign continues
As the elections are coming closer, the process of booking vehicles is increasing. Leaders of various parties have also deposited advance amount to many vehicle owners for this. A vehicle owner said that both Congress and JDU are ahead in the matter of vehicle booking. Most of the vehicles have been booked a month in advance. Vehicle owners are a little hesitant in giving vehicles to political parties.
It doesn’t matter if the candidate taking the car wins the election, but if he loses then he has to struggle to collect the fare. According to an estimate, on an average, candidates of major parties run in 5 to 6 vehicles in each assembly. There are six assembly constituencies in Purnia.
