Trinamool Congress election song: ‘Jonogoner Gorjan…’
The ruling party in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress, has targeted the BJP in its election song Jonogoner Gorjan (Roaring Loud). In the song, BJP has been described as anti-Bengal. This song, made in pop style, has been watched by more than one crore people on YouTube.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee have been kept at the center in the visuals of the song. The entire emphasis of the song is on opposition to BJP and Bengali identity. There are many other parties who have presented election songs, but it is the songs of BJP, Congress and Trinamool which are being seen again and again on social media.
