Lok Sabha Elections: Patna/Siwan. RJD is stuck in trouble on Siwan Lok Sabha seat. The party kept waiting for Hena Shahab, wife of former MP Mohd Shahabuddin, throughout the day on Thursday. But instead of meeting RJD President Lalu Prasad, Hena Shahab kept meeting people on the occasion of Eid at her residence in Pratappur, Siwan. Hena said in clear words on Thursday that she has been repeatedly saying that she will contest elections from Siwan Lok Sabha seat as an independent candidate. Putting an end to all the speculations, Hena Shahab once again said on Thursday that it is certain that she will contest the elections as an independent candidate. I still stand by my statement.
The language of leaders keeps changing, not that of the public.
After this statement of Hena Saheb, it is now expected that RJD will take a final decision on Siwan’s candidature in one to two days. Regarding Hena Shahab, a section of RJD is suggesting the top leadership to take her along. On Thursday, Hena Shahab remained busy throughout the day in her village Pratappur in wishing Eid. During this, when asked by BollywoodWallah regarding various speculations, Hena Shahab said that I am not a politician. I am an ordinary person. The language of the leaders keeps changing, not that of the people. We have said not once but repeatedly that this time I will contest the elections as an independent.
RJD is still waiting
Here, according to party sources, the party is in a mood to wait even longer for Hena Shahab’s positive response for Siwan. RJD is contesting on 23 seats in this Lok Sabha election, but due to RJD headquarters announcing the names of candidates on all the seats except Siwan two days ago, it started being speculated that Siwan seat will be in Hena’s name. The party leadership is waiting for discussion and Hena’s consent. On the other hand, Siwan Sadar MLA and former Assembly Speaker Avadh Bihari Chaudhary is busy in his election campaign considering his ticket from RJD fixed. The interesting fact is that RJD leader Awadh Bihari Choudhary has told during a conversation with the media that he will be made the candidate.

Muslim leaders met Lalu and Tejashwi
On the occasion of Eid, many senior Muslim leaders of RJD reached 10 Circular Road to meet RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav. It was expected that Hena Saheb might come to Patna to meet the RJD supremo on the pretext of Eid. Although he did not take any time for this.
