Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Flag march of Jharkhand-Bihar officers in Palamu, message of fear-free voting, special attention will be kept on border areas.

Lok Sabha Election 2024: Medininagar (Palamu), Chandrashekhar Singh – A joint meeting of administrative officials of Jharkhand and Bihar was held in the block auditorium on Saturday in Hariharganj of Palamu district of Jharkhand regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. During this, a detailed discussion was held regarding conducting the elections in a clean and fair manner. Earlier, officials along with police forces conducted a flag march in the border areas of both the states and gave the message of peaceful and fearless elections.

Special monitoring of border areas
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Palamu said that the elections have to be conducted in a fair manner in every situation. Regarding this, the police and administrative officials of both the states will maintain coordination among themselves. The police of both the states will also take joint action by compiling information and sharing it with each other regarding crime control. Special monitoring of border areas will be done. The border of Jharkhand and Bihar will be sealed during the elections. Villagers are being made aware about voting. People who threaten voters and create irregularities in voting will not be spared under any circumstances.

Ban on liquor and arms smuggling
Instructions were given to the concerned police station in-charge to completely stop liquor smuggling. Stopping arms smuggling and keeping an eye on Naxal and criminals were specifically discussed. Discussions were held on running joint operations against Naxalites, banning liquor, drugs and intoxicants and identifying those who influence the elections, etc.

The Superintendent of Police said that the work of area domination is going on in sensitive areas regarding elections.
