Lok Sabha Elections 2019: JDU had direct contest with RJD on eight seats, these veterans were defeated

Last time in the Lok Sabha elections, JDU had won eight seats in Bihar by giving a tough competition to RJD. JDU had won 16 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. RJD candidates put up a tough fight, but could not get even a single seat. There was a close contest between JDU and RJD on Jehanabad Lok Sabha seat. In this, JDU candidate Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi could win the election from RJD’s Dr. Surendra Prasad Yadav by just less than two thousand votes. Apart from Jehanabad, the eight seats on which there was a face-to-face contest between RJD and JDU include Banka, Bhagalpur, Siwan, Gopalganj, Madhepura, Jhanjharpur and Sitamarhi. Four big leaders also faced defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Had to taste it.
