The list of 13 candidates from Uttar Pradesh was released by BJP on Sunday. Maneka Gandhi has been given a second chance from Sultanpur while the party has canceled the ticket of Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi this time. Jitin Prasad will be seen in the election field in place of Varun Gandhi.
A total of 13 candidates from Uttar Pradesh are seen in the fifth list released by BJP. In this list, BJP has canceled the tickets of nine of its sitting MPs. The nine MPs whose tickets have been canceled by the party know their names

Arun Govil got the ticket
In Meerut, BJP has fielded Arun Govil, who was seen in the role of Lord Ram in the Ramayana serial, in place of Rajendra Aggarwal.
So that’s why Varun Gandhi’s ticket was cut?
The question coming in people’s mind is why did BJP cut the ticket of Varun Gandhi? So let us tell you that Varun Gandhi had been expressing his anger in a different tone from BJP ever since the introduction of the Centre’s three agricultural laws. He was vocal against the Modi government at the Centre, however, later the decision to withdraw these laws was taken by the Central Government. Varun Gandhi was seen speaking different from the BJP’s line on many issues including employment and health.
