Lok Sabha Election 2024: Voted leaders are looking for alternatives

Lok Sabha Election 2024 The first phase of nomination is over in Bihar. About a dozen leaders were left without tickets. Leaders like sitting MPs JDU’s Mahabali Singh and Vijay Kumar Manjhi and Sunil Kumar Pintu, BJP’s Chhedi Paswan, Rama Devi, Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Ajay Nishad, LJP’s Chandan Singh, RLJP President Pashupati Kumar Paras are in trouble if they contest the elections this time. Have been. All these are sitting MPs, apart from them there are many former MPs, who are ready to contest the elections but this time too they have not been able to get the symbol from any party.

These are ticketless

Among such leaders are the names of former Governor and Congress leader Nikhil Kumar, former Union Minister Devendra Prasad Yadav, Congress’s Tariq Anwar and former Union Minister Mohd Ali Ashraf Fatmi who joined RJD. There are some leaders who hoped that their party would make arrangements to contest the elections, but it did not happen. Among such leaders, leaders like former Union Minister RCP Singh, former MP Virendra Kumar Chaudhary, former MP Pappu Yadav, former MP Jagdish Sharma, former MP Arun Kumar, former Union Minister Nagmani have been left blank. These are such leaders who once had a say in politics. As time changed, political circumstances kept changing, now the parties have given tickets to someone else in their place.

Paras is maintaining silence, Prince is maintaining contact with Chirag

The politics of Pashupati Kumar Paras, who was a minister in the central government till recently, is also in limbo. Ram Vilas Paswan’s younger brother Paras had got a huge victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as an NDA candidate from Hajipur reserved seat. Ram Vilas Paswan had made him his candidate from Hajipur. After Paswan’s death, LJP got divided into two parts. One group was formed by Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan and the other was headed by Paras himself. Now BJP has handed over the Hajipur seat to Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas). On the other hand, Paras has insisted on fighting from Hajipur only.

Prince Raj in touch with cousin Chirag Paswan

In such a situation, no solution has been found till now even in the Grand Alliance regarding Paras. There is information of contact with Chirag Paswan, cousin of Samastipur MP Prince Raj, his other nephew who was with Paras. A similar situation has arisen with Muzaffarpur MP Ajay Nishad. Ajay Nishad, son of Captain Jai Narayan Prasad Nishad, is the current MP of Muzaffarpur. BJP canceled his ticket and replaced him with Dr. Rajbhushan Nishad, who was defeated by him in the 2019 general elections. Sources say that angry Ajay Nishad has contacted the leaders of the Grand Alliance.

JDU MP Sunil Kumar Pintu also ticketed

Congress has been contesting the Muzaffarpur seat in the Grand Alliance. Experts say that Vijendra Chaudhary from Congress is also willing to contest elections in Muzaffarpur. In such a situation, Ajay Nishad has no other option. However, there is also talk of his being in touch with top BJP leaders. Sunil Kumar Pintu, the current JDU MP from Sitamarhi, has also been ticketed. JDU has made Devesh Chandra Thakur its candidate in his place. Here, leaders like former MP Arjun Rai, Ram Kumar Sharma etc. have also been willing to contest the elections. Now Pintu will have to resort to a third option to contest the elections.
