Lok Sabha Election 2024: SP released another list of candidates

Lok Sabha Election 2024: Political parties are in the race for Lok Sabha elections. Amidst the vigorous election campaign, the party is also campaigning for its candidates. In this series, Samajwadi Party has released another list. SP has approved the names of two candidates in its new list. The party has given ticket to Pushpendra Saroj from Kaushambi and Ajay Pratap Singh from Kushinagar.

Ajay Pratap will face BJP’s Vijay Dubey

There is a direct contest between SP and BJP from Kushinagar. BJP has made Vijay Dubey the candidate from this seat. Vijay has become the BJP candidate for the second time from Kushinagar. In 2019, Dubey had contested elections from Kushinagar on BJP ticket. It is noteworthy that Dubey was earlier associated with the Congress Party. In the year 2012, he also became MLA from Congress. After this, in 2016, Vijay Dubey left Congress and joined BJP. Now once again he is trying his luck as a BJP candidate from Kushinagar.

Vinod Sonkar will contest from Kaushambi

SP has given ticket to Pushpendra Saroj from Kaushambi Lok Sabha seat. He will face BJP’s Vinod Sonkar from this seat. BJP leader Vinod Sonkar has been MP from this seat for the last two consecutive terms. The party has expressed confidence in him for the third time also.

SP is contesting elections on 63 seats

This time SP is contesting elections in UP under alliance. Samajwadi Party has seat sharing with Congress under India Alliance. SP is contesting elections on 63 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Whereas Congress is fielding its candidates on 17 seats. Let us tell you that there are 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP.

Samajwadi Party announced candidates for 50 seats

Samajwadi Party has so far announced the names of its candidates on 50 seats for the 18th Lok Sabha elections. In this series, the party has announced the names of candidates on two seats today i.e. on Friday. The party has announced candidates from Kaushambi and Kushinagar.

Elections will be held in seven phases

The elections for the 18th Lok Sabha are being held in seven phases. Elections are being held in UP under all seven phases. The first phase of voting in the state will be held on April 19. The last phase of voting will take place on June 1. Let us tell you, counting of votes will take place on June 4.
