Explaining why it is necessary for the BJP candidate to win from Kanthi in the Lok Sabha elections, he said that his aim is to form a double engine government in the state. To achieve this goal, there is a need to win in Kanthi by a big margin. The candidate with lotus symbol will have to be sent to Delhi. He also said that BJP will come to power in the Lok Sabha elections by securing 400 seats.

BJP wins on most of the seats in Kanthi

Shubhendu Adhikari said that BJP has won most of the seats in Kanthi in the 2021 assembly elections. According to the mathematics of assembly elections, Kanthi is also included in the Lok Sabha constituencies where BJP is ahead. In the last assembly elections, BJP had won four out of seven assembly constituencies of Kanthi Lok Sabha constituency. She was in second place in the remaining three assembly constituencies. However, BJP has not yet formed full committees at all the booths of Kanthi. There are about 1600 booths in the area. Of these, full committees have not been formed in 70-72 booths. Basically this problem is being seen in minority dominated areas. But BJP is confident that despite these problems, its prospects in Kanthi are very bright.
