Police seized Rs 98,460 from the bike while checking the vehicle at the check point of Gudabanda-Odisha border in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. This cash belongs to Hemant Kumar Sethi of Baharagora. Hemant could not provide any valid document. Police is taking further action.
Vehicle checking campaign going on for Lok Sabha elections
Police seized Rs 98,460 in Chuashol of Gudabanda police station area of East Singhbhum district on Thursday. The police recovered this amount during bike checking in view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
Cash recovered from Hemant Kumar Sethi
It is being told that two youths were going from Baharagora to Odisha on a motorcycle. During this time their vehicles were checked. During the search, police seized cash worth Rs 98,460 from his bike. The youth has been identified as Hemant Kumar Sethi of Baharagora area. During interrogation, the youth did not give accurate information regarding the recovered amount.
Money found during investigation at check point of Gudabanda-Odisha border
Under the leadership of Gudabandha police station in-charge Pawan Kumar, vehicles including bikes are being checked at the check point of Gudabandha-Odisha border. During this period the police has achieved success. Police are keeping a special eye on the border areas in various districts of Jharkhand. Vehicles are being searched at checkposts. Till now a huge amount has been recovered.
