Lok Sabha Election 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a mega road show in Chennai today i.e. Tuesday, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in Tamil Nadu on April 19. BJP state president K Annamalai and BJP candidates from South Chennai, Central Chennai and North Chennai also accompanied PM Modi in the road show. Let us tell you, BJP has fielded Tamilisai Soundararajan from South Chennai, while Vinoj P. Selvam and R.C. Paul Kanagaraj has been fielded from Central Chennai and North Chennai respectively.
PM Modi greeted people by shaking hands
Standing on top of a decorated car during the road show, Prime Minister Narendra Modi waved to the supporters standing on both sides of the road. Prime Minister Modi was holding a small cut-out of the BJP’s election symbol lotus in his hand during the road show. The supporters showered flowers on PM Modi. During this, the people standing there also raised slogans to welcome PM Modi.
PM Modi did a road show for two kilometers
PM Modi’s road show lasted for two kilometers. PM Modi conducted a road show of about 45 minutes from Panagal Park to Teynampet. During this, Prime Minister Modi was seen smiling and waving at the people. The crowd gathered during the road show raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Modi, Modi. Many people were holding placards praising BJP and Modi. Let us tell you, a large number of people gathered in Chennai to watch the road show of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
BJP candidate expressed happiness
At the same time, BJP candidate from South Chennai Tamilisai Soundararajan has expressed happiness over PM Modi’s road show. He said that PM Modi’s visit will definitely help us in the Lok Sabha elections. People want him to become Prime Minister for the third time. Whenever he comes, DMK gets exposed. He emphatically said that lotus will bloom in Tamil.
