According to the information, 19 candidates filed nomination from Gaya Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday. Earlier, two candidates had filed their nomination on March 25 and one candidate had filed their nomination on March 21. Now the nomination papers will be scrutinized till 30th March. Also, the date for withdrawal of nominations has been fixed by the Election Commission till April 2.

There was hustle and bustle in the Collectorate complex area throughout the day.

Due to it being the last day of nomination, there was a lot of hustle and bustle in the collectorate and surrounding areas. However, due to the nomination of 19 candidates within a few hours, the officers and security personnel deployed there also appeared alert. During this time, officers and security personnel remained alert to ensure that the code of conduct is not violated. Also, the candidates who were filing nominations were seen being given information about the Model Code of Conduct even before reaching the Collectorate.
