Lok Sabha Election 2024: JDU may get seat from NDA in Gaya, RJD may get seat from Grand Alliance.

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Gaya parliamentary constituency has been reserved since 1967. Six out of 10 assembly constituencies of the district come under this. These include Sherghati, Barachatti (reserved), Bodhgaya (reserved), Gaya Town, Belaganj and Wazirganj assembly constituencies. In the year 2019, the number of voters in Gaya parliamentary constituency was 1698772, of which 879308 were men, 819405 were women and 59 were others. The final publication of the number of voters was made on 22 January 2024. Now the total number of voters has reached 1803744. Of these, 936997 are men, 866721 are women and 26 are other voters. In five years, the total number of voters has increased by 104972, out of which 57689 male and 47316 female voters have increased, while other voters have decreased from 33 to only 26.

NDA has been getting more than 40 percent votes since 2014.

In the year 2014, Hari Manjhi, the winning candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party from Gaya parliamentary constituency, had secured 326230 votes. He got 40.30 percent of the total votes cast, while his nearest rival, former MP Ramji Manjhi from Rashtriya Janata Dal, got a total of 210726 votes and secured 26.03 percent votes. JDU candidate Jitan Ram Manjhi, who stood at third position, had secured 131828 votes and the percentage of votes was 16.28. JDU candidate Vijay Manjhi won the Lok Sabha elections held in the year 2019.

He got a total of 467007 votes. He had secured 48.79 percent of the total votes polled, while his nearest rival, Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAM (S) had secured 314581 votes and his vote percentage was 32.86. The surprising thing was that then 30030 votes were cast in ‘NOTA’, which was the third number. If we talk about the year 2019, then almost the same situation which was common among the political parties is being seen in the year 2024. Even at that time BJP and JDU were together in Bihar.

This time also the equation is the same. This time till now both the LJP parties are together among the constituent parties of HAM(S) and NDA. On the other hand, the big parties in the Grand Alliance are Congress and Left parties along with RJD. Talking about Gaya parliamentary constituency, currently JDU MP is Vijay Manjhi.

JDU can get seat from NDA, RJD can get seat from Grand Alliance

If we talk about the year 1957 till now, he has been MP of BJP five times, MP of Congress five times and Janata Dal MP thrice. JDU has registered victory for the first time in alliance with BJP. Now it remains to be seen whether this time in NDA the ticket again goes to JDU’s account or BJP stakes its claim. However, it is being expected that only JDU will have candidates from Gaya parliamentary constituency. However, whether Vijay Manjhi will be the candidate or the party takes revenge is a different matter.

discussion of giving tickets to them

However, there is a discussion going on about giving ticket to Bhagirath Manjhi, son of mountain man Dashrath Manjhi. On the other hand, National President of HAM (SE) and Minister in Bihar Government, Santosh Kumar Suman is also preparing his land for the election season. While presenting the claim, he had said many times in the area that top BJP leaders have given him the green signal. However, JDU was not a part of NDA then. On the other hand, RJD’s claim in the grand alliance is strong. Since initially, when Congress was in power in the country, their party’s candidates have been winning. But, the situation is different, in such a situation only RJD will present its claim. There is a greater possibility that former minister Kumar Sarvjeet, son of former MP Rajesh Kumar, may get a chance.
