Under the special brief revision program for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the final voter list of Pan Panposh subdivision has been published in the Panposh Sub-District Magistrate’s office. According to the revision of the voter list that went on till January 5, the final voter list of Birmitrapur, Raghunathpali and Rourkela assembly constituencies of this sub-division has been published by Panposh Sub-District Magistrate Vijay Kumar Nayak. According to this, Birmitrapur Assembly has the highest number of voters among the three Assemblies. There were 607,341 voters in the 2019 voter list of three assembly constituencies of Panposh subdivision. Now till January 5, 2024, a total of 6,30,493 voters have been registered. The number of voters in 2024 has increased by 23152 compared to 2019. In 2019, a total of 2,31,637 voters were registered in Birmitrapur assembly constituency, while there are a total of 2,41,303 voters in the final list of 2024. In 2019, a total of 1,74,817 voters were registered in Raghunath Pali assembly constituency, while there are a total of 1,79,480 voters in the 2024 final list.
Similarly, a total of 2,00,887 voters were registered in Rourkela Assembly constituency in 2019, whereas after the revised schedule, there are a total of 2,09,710 voters in the final list. Similarly, the total number of young voters in the age group of 18-19 in all three assembly constituencies has reached 12810. Apart from Panposh Sub-District Magistrate, Deputy Collector Arpita Mohanty, Assistant District Collectors Gopabandhu Nayak and Vikas Kumar Bhoi, ADW Bharat Guru, Small Collection Officer Prakash Kumar Das were present during the publication of this list. District President of political party BJP Panpaesh District Organization Latika Patnaik, BJD Rourkela City President Gagan Panda and BSP Rourkela President Ranjan Kumar Tanti have also been provided the final voter list by the Sub-District Magistrate.
