Lucknow: PM Narendra Modi (Lok Sabha Election 2024) was given a grand welcome by the local people during the road show in Ghaziabad. At the scheduled time at 5.30 pm, PM Modi conducted a road show in a special open vehicle from Maliwada in Ghaziabad. PM Modi’s colleague CM Yogi Adityanath and Ghaziabad MP candidate Atul Garg were also there. Everyone was greeting the public with BJP’s election symbol lotus in their hands. People had gathered on both sides of the road to see PM Modi. Flowers were showered on him at many places. Groups of women welcomed. The band and people playing drums were continuously raising slogans of Modi-Modi.

This time BJP has fielded a candidate from Ghaziabad Lok Sabha seat. General VK Singh was elected MP from here in 2014 and 2019. He was also given the post of minister at the Centre. But BJP has made Atul Garg its candidate in 2024. Atul Garg is MLA from Ghaziabad city seat. He has also been the Mayor of Ghaziabad.
