Lok Sabha Election 2024: Congress has alleged that the code of conduct is being violated by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the memorandum submitted before the Election Commission, Congress said, the 2G allocation issue has been raised in the false advertisements of BJP. Congress urged the Commission to remove such advertisements and take action.

Congress has alleged that official resources are being used by BJP. The use of armed forces in advertisements is in violation of several directives of the Commission.

Congress also lodged a complaint on Modi’s letter through WhatsApp.

Congress raised the issue of sending letters in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through WhatsApp and said that it should be investigated how PMO letterhead can be used for such publicity. However, the Election Commission has taken action in this matter and ordered an immediate ban.

Congress also objected to PM Modi’s picture in metro and petrol pump.

Congress urged the Commission to also remove the ‘Modi’s Guarantee’ advertisement posted in Delhi Metro. Congress said that pictures of Prime Minister Modi should be removed from government bodies, offices and petrol pumps for the period of Lok Sabha elections as they violate the code of conduct.
