Lok Sabha Election 2024: In the first phase of voting in West Bengal, not only the central forces but also the state police will take charge of the security. election Commission (Election Commission) will deploy more than 10,000 state police at three centers in the first phase. Police from various districts of North Bengal will reach the centers at least three days before voting. In the first phase, voting is taking place at three centers in Bengal. The total number of booths in Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and Cooch Behar is 5,814. To conduct polling with full central forces, 16 to 18 companies of forces are required in each assembly constituency. So far 277 companies have been deployed in the state. All of them have not reached the state yet. In the first phase, 100 companies came to Bengal. After that, the Commission deployed 50 companies, 27 companies and finally another 100 companies. In the first phase, along with that force, the state police will also take charge of the security.
