Lucknow: Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav will visit Sitapur on Friday in view of the Lok Sabha elections (Lok Sabha Election 2024). He will meet Azam Khan who is in jail here. This meeting is being considered important in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Samajwadi Party has not yet declared candidates for Rampur and Moradabad seats. Azam Khan’s consent is necessary on both these seats. It is believed that Akhilesh Yadav is going to Sitapur to meet Azam Khan for the announcement of the candidate.
Meeting regarding Rampur and Moradabad Lok Sabha seats
Rampur and Moradabad seats are very important for Samajwadi Party. Rampur is considered the stronghold of Azam Khan. But BJP has breached this stronghold in the Lok Sabha by-elections and assembly by-elections. ST Hasan is currently the MP from Samajwadi Party in Moradabad. The meeting of Akhilesh Yadav and Azam Khan is being said to be important regarding both the seats.
