Lok Sabha Election 2024: Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak said in a press conference, Arvind Kejriwal was arrested as part of a big conspiracy. This is the first time that a sitting Chief Minister has been arrested during the Lok Sabha elections. We are starting the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign and we want you (people) to empower Kejriwal.

AAP leaders will visit Lok Sabha constituencies

Pathak said that as part of the campaign, AAP leaders and workers will visit the four Lok Sabha constituencies where the party has fielded its candidates. In Delhi, AAP is contesting elections in alliance with Congress. AAP has fielded candidates in New Delhi, East Delhi, South Delhi and West Delhi. At the same time, Congress has won North East Delhi, Chandni Chowk and North West Delhi seats.

On AAP’s campaign against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said, party workers will take this campaign forward. He asked people to remember Kejriwal’s face when they go to vote. Sanjay Singh has been released from jail on bail this week in a money laundering case related to excise policy.

ED arrested Arvind Kejriwal on March 21

It is noteworthy that ED had arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on March 21. Kejriwal is currently lodged in Tihar jail in judicial custody till April 15.
