Four lanes are being prepared in the underpass under the flyover in Patna Lohia Pathchakra-2. Of these, one lane was made operational. There is a possibility of opening the second lane also soon. With the commencement of this lane, people coming from the Bihar Museum side will be able to take a U-turn and then go towards Bowring Road via Bailey Road. Apart from this, two lanes in the underpass are being prepared for commuting on Daroga Rai Path and Boring Canal Road. Currently, the cut in the middle of the road near Bihar Museum will not be closed. The cut will be closed after all the lanes in the underpass become operational. Bridge Construction Corporation Chairman Abhay Kumar Singh, MD Sunil Kumar etc. were present during the start of the U-turn.
Boring road U-turns will also start before Durga Puja.
The facility of commuting to Daroga Rai Path and Boring Canal Road will start before Durga Puja from the underpass under the flyover near Dhartiki Mor. The work of Lohia Path Chakra on Daroga Rai Path side is almost completed. 300 meter work has been done in Boring Canal Road. To complete the work quickly, 380 laborers with four Poklanes and two JCBs are engaged day and night. Preparations are underway to build Golambar near Mohini Mod.
Patna-Dobhi will now expand to Saristabad
Patna-Gaya-Dobhi NH-83 greenfield four lane will now be extended till Saristabad. This will provide connectivity to NH-83 and NH-30. The proposal to build a four lane greenfield road from Nathupur to Saristabad in 2.8 km length at the lowest cost of Rs 96 crore 77 lakh 51 thousand 600 has been given by M/s HS Engineers and Associates-Velji Ratna Sorathiya Infra Pvt. JV. However, this is yet to be finalized. The construction of this road is likely to start by December 2023. According to sources, 127 km long Patna-Gaya-Dobhi NH is coming to an end in Nathupur Narayanchak, 3.5 km south-east of Beur village of Patna, Golambar is being built there. This new road will emerge from the bypass 300 meters west of Saristabad 70 feet road. Besides, Nathupur Highway will be connected to Patna-Gaya-Dobhi main road till Nathupur Highway Junction in Narayanchak. A very large population will benefit from this.
