During this time, three smugglers were caught along with two trucks loaded with liquor in Chakia. 300 cartons of liquor were recovered from both the trucks. At the same time, 294 cartons of foreign liquor were recovered from a truck loaded with potatoes in Dumariaghat. About 5400 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from the three trucks at both the places. He told that the liquor was ordered for the New Year. Apart from Gopalganj, among these smugglers, there are smugglers from UP and Haryana. Four mobile phones have also been recovered from the arrested smugglers. The call details of his mobile are being scrutinized. On the basis of mobile call details, efforts will be made to reach the big liquor businessmen.
