Efforts are being made to lay the foundation stone of the Janaki Dham project even before the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections.

251 feet high statue of Mata Janaki will be built

Janaki Dham will be built on 57 acres of land near Punaura Dham of Sitamarhi. A 251 feet high statue of Mata Janaki will be installed in it. 12 acres 43 decimal land has also been obtained for this in Sitamarhi. The agreement process for the remaining land is going on. Ramayana Research Council will build this temple. Vishwa Hindu Parishad will have special support in this. There is a plan to build Janaki Dham on the lines of Ram temple in Ayodhya. VHP International Working President Alok Kumar has inspected the land.

Preparation to lay the foundation stone by PM Modi

Let us tell you that IIT Patna will provide technical support in the construction work of this temple. Ashish Sompura, the architect engaged in the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, will also provide his services. Ramayana Research Council has planned to lay the foundation stone of Janaki Dham by Prime Minister Narendra Modi before the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections.

Soil and flame will come from 51 Shaktipeeths

Ramayana Research Council held a meeting recently in which VHP officials and members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and Council President Kameshwar Chaupal especially participated. He said that we have resolved to develop Sitamarhi area as a power, tourism and cultural centre. A grand statue of Mother Sita will be installed in Sitamarhi. Also, by bringing soil and flame from 51 Shaktipeeths, Mother Sita has to be installed in the same form in which Mother Shaktipeeths are present. He said that for the first time, Sitamarhi area will be developed as a place of power by establishing Mother Sita as Bhagwati here.

Campaign will run in every district of Bihar

Kameshwar Chaupal said that people will be involved through public awareness campaign in every district of Bihar for the construction of the temple and programs will be organized across the country. Lord Shri Ram is incomplete without Mata Sita, hence on the lines of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the construction work of the grand statue of Mata Sitaji will be started soon in Sitamarhi under the Council. Let us tell you that the enthusiasm for building Ram temple in Ayodhya is also visible in Bihar. Akshat Kalash has reached Bihar from Ayodhya and the worshiped Akshat is being distributed as an invitation. The intact urn has also reached Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Mother Sita, from Ayodhya.

Political rhetoric regarding construction of temple in Sitamarhi

It is noteworthy that on the occasion of recently concluded Vivah Panchami, political rhetoric regarding the construction of temple in Sitamarhi had intensified. JDU’s national general secretary Rajiv Ranjan had written on social media that on one hand the central government is getting the birthplace of Lord Ram constructed with full pomp and show. On the other hand, they are not concerned about Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Mother Sita. The central government should answer on this neglect of Sita’s birthplace.

JDU General Secretary’s demand

In another post, JDU General Secretary has written that in reality, if BJP had true devotion towards Lord Ram, then BJP would have been the first to rejuvenate Sita’s birthplace. Everyone knows that Lord Shri Ram is incomplete without Mother Sita. BJP has forgotten that it was Mother Sita for whom Lord Ram crossed the vast ocean and killed Ravana. This also became the basis for the composition of Ramayana. It is because of the glory of Mother Sita that every child of the country says ‘Jai Siyaram’, not Jai Ramsita. Despite this, BJP’s indifference towards Sita’s birthplace reflects their political selfishness. Let us tell you that in the cabinet meeting, Nitish government has approved Rs 72 crore 47 lakh for the development work of Punaura Dham Janaki Temple of Sitamarhi.
