Lecture in Hindu College: Famous filmmaker Sanjay Joshi said that the language of cinema is the most effective.

The language of cinema is made up of visuals and sounds. This is a language that is more effective and touching than any other spoken language in the world. Famous filmmaker Sanjay Joshi Expressed the above views in the Deepak Sinha Memorial Lecture organized at Hindu College. In this lecture organized by Hindi Sahitya Sabha, Joshi explained the difference between the language of cinema and spoken language in the presentation and interpretation of Canadian filmmaker Norman N. Loren’s short film A Cherry Tale. In this film, Pandit Ravi Shankar’s sitar creates the language of the film. Lauren’s second film Neighbor was also screened at the lecture.

Color is also a language in film

By showcasing famous Indian director Geetanjali Rao’s short film Printed Rainbow, Joshi explained how colors also act as language in films. At the end of the lecture, Joshi also answered the questions of the students. At the beginning of the event, Dr. Rameshwar Rai, senior professor of Hindi department, while narrating the memoirs of Deepak Sinha, said that Deepak Sinha cannot be forgotten as a teacher, political activist and human being. Former Acharya of Kirori Mal College, Khalid Ashraf, while paying tribute to Deepak Sinha, said that an honest person like him is rare now, who remained firm on his ideas.
