Latehar Police gets big success, six criminals planning robbery arrested with weapons

Latehar: On Thursday, near Kechki Sangam of Barwadih police station area of ​​Latehar district of Jharkhand, six criminals who were planning robbery were arrested by the police with weapons and sent to jail. Apart from Latehar, they have also committed robberies in other districts. Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan has given information to this effect in a press conference held in the auditorium of his office on Friday.

Latehar SP Anjani Anjan said that secret information was received that many criminals were gathered near Kechki Sangam with the intention of committing robbery. On this information, a raid operation was conducted under the leadership of trainee IPS Lalit Meena. In which all these six criminals have been arrested. Police have recovered two country-made pistols, two country-made pistols, 11 live cartridges, 12 mobile phones, one Rampuri knife, one Bolaño car and Rs 8090 in cash from the arrested criminals.

Latehar SP said that apart from Latehar district, the arrested criminals have also been active in Khunti, Gumla and Palamu districts and carrying out incidents of robbery. Among the arrested criminals, Shashikant Kumar, W Kumar Singh and Satyaprakash Singh have criminal history.
