Ranchi: Ranchi’s sub-registrar Vaibhavmani Tripathi will be questioned on May 1, while Calcutta’s additional registrar Trideep Mishra will be questioned by the ED on May 2 in the case of sale and purchase of land by forgery. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has directed these officers to appear at the regional office in Ranchi for questioning.

Trideep Mishra has been summoned for questioning regarding the forgery done in Kolkata in the original documents of land occupied by army and land of Cheshire Home Road. ED had found in the investigation that the purchase and sale of both the lands were done through fake documents. For this, the documents kept in the Kolkata Registry Office were tampered with. Fake ownership was created. Both the lands were sold on the basis of the document related to this fake ownership.

The land occupied by the army has been bought by businessman Vishnu Agarwal of Jagat Bandhu Tea Estate and Cheshire Home Road. Jagat Bandhu Tea State is related to businessman Amit Agarwal. The involvement of Prem Prakash has been found in the sale and purchase of Cheshire Home Road land. Punit Bhargava has transferred Rs 1.50 crore to the account of Prem Prakash’s companies out of the payment made by Vishnu Aggarwal in lieu of the land. Vaibhavmani is to be questioned in connection with the document kept in the Registry Office in Ranchi.
