Land Scam: ED gets 4 days remand of Mo Saddam

Land Scam: PMLA court on Friday (April 12) sent Mo Saddam to 4-day ED remand. ED had asked for 5 days’ remand for his questioning. The court gave remand for 4 days. Saddam is accused of tampering with land documents. He was arrested by ED on 9 April. This was the third arrest in the Ranchi land scam case.

On April 9, ED arrested Saddam in Land Scam case.

He was arrested by ED on April 9 in the land scam case. PMLA court had given 4-day remand of already jailed Mo Saddam to ED. His remand period was ending on Friday. Therefore, ED once again presented him in the special court and demanded 5 days’ remand.

Hemant Soren has also been arrested in the land scam case.

The special court of PMLA extended the remand period of Mohammad Saddam by 4 days on the request of ED. Let us tell you that in the alleged land scam case in which former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate, Mo Saddam has also been arrested in the same case.

Mo Saddam was arrested for the first time on 13 April 2023

On April 13, 2023, ED had arrested Mohammad Saddam, Afsar Ali, Imtiaz Khan, Pradeep Bagchi, Bhanu Pratap Prasad and others. On April 9, ED officially arrested jailed Mo Saddam and sought his 5-day remand from the PMLA special court. Even then the PMLA court had given only 4 days’ remand of Mo Saddam to ED.
