Land For Job Scam: Lalu Yadav’s daughter reaches ED office, Ragini Yadav questioned for hours

Patna. The ED is interrogating another member of the Lalu-Rabri family in the matter of giving a job by taking land in the railways. Ragini Yadav reached the ED office in Delhi on Wednesday. Ragini Yadav was accompanied by her husband Rahul Yadav. However, Rahul Yadav dropped him at the main gate of the ED office and left. According to sources, information is being taken from Ragini Yadav by showing several documents.

These members of Lalu family have been questioned till now

Earlier in this case, the ED team had interrogated Lalu Prasad Yadav’s wife Rabri Devi at her residence in Patna. A day after that, ED had interrogated Lalu Yadav for a long time at Misa Bharti’s residence in Delhi. Apart from this, ED also questioned Lalu Prasad’s eldest daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Misa Bharti. On March 25, Misa Bharti was called for questioning. After that Tejashwi Yadav was interrogated for about 9 hours on 11th April. Ragini Yadav is now being questioned in the same case. In the last few days, ED and CBI had raided the places of people related to Lalu family, Ragini Yadav’s house was also included in them.

what is the allegation on ragini

In the matter of giving job in lieu of land in Railways, the ED team found that a house and plot worth about Rs 150 crore in New Friends Colony, Delhi was taken over by the Lalu family for just Rs 4 lakh. This plot was in the name of a company. Lalu family bought all the shares of that company for four lakh rupees. Most of the shares of this company named AB Exports are in the name of Tejashwi Yadav, while some shares are in the name of Ragini Yadav. Ragini Yadav is also the director of that company at present and her name is registered there as Ragini Lalu. The ED team is interrogating Ragini Yadav in the same case.

Ragini is the fourth daughter of Lalu-Rabri

Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi have seven daughters and two sons. Out of seven daughters, Ragini Yadav is the fourth daughter of Lalu Prasad. Ragini Yadav was married to Samajwadi Party leader Rahul Yadav in 2012. After marriage, in 2017 and 2022, Ragini Yadav’s husband Rahul Yadav contested assembly elections from Uttar Pradesh on a Samajwadi Party ticket, but he could not win the elections. In the affidavit given to the Election Commission, Rahul Yadav had told that he has assets worth about Rs 25 crore.
