Lalu Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan’s clan increases in Bihar politics, entry of two new stars

Mithilesh, Patna. Candidates who inherited politics will try their luck in at least 10 of the forty Lok Sabha seats in the state in this election. There have been three new entries so far in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Lalu- Rabri’s second daughter Rohini Acharya, Chirag Paswan’s brother-in-law Arun Bharti and Sudhakar Singh, son of senior RJD leader Jagdanand Singh. Among them, Rohini Acharya and Arun Bharti are completely new, while Sudhakar Singh is an MLA.

Saran has been the seat of Lalu family

Rohini Acharya, who lives in Singapore and donated a kidney to her father, has come to take over the politics of the legacy of the Lalu family. RJD has made Lalu-Rabri’s second daughter Rohini Acharya its candidate from Saran Lok Sabha seat. Lalu Prasad was elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time in 1977 from Saran Lok Sabha seat. Rohini’s name has not been formally announced, but family sources said that her name has been decided. Elections are to be held in Saran on May 20 in the fifth phase. Rohini has recently added her name to the voter list of Saran Lok Sabha constituency. Two days ago, Legislative Councilor Sunil Singh, who was close to the Lalu family, had advocated on social media to make Rohini a candidate from Saran Lok Sabha seat. At present, apart from Lalu Prasad himself and wife Rabri Devi, elder daughter Misa Bharti, both sons Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav are active in politics. Misa Bharti is a member of Rajya Sabha. This time also he is being made a candidate from Patliputra Lok Sabha seat.

Ram Vilas’s son-in-law also entered the field

This time, the family of late Ram Vilas Paswan is also going to expand in politics. Chirag Paswan’s real brother-in-law Arun Bharti is being made the candidate from Jamui reserved seat. Voting will be held in Jamui in the first phase on 19th April. After Holi, Arun Bharti will file nomination papers. Apart from these two, RJD MLA Sudhakar Singh will be made the candidate from Buxar Lok Sabha seat. Voting is to be held in the seventh phase in Buxar. In the last two elections, senior RJD leader Jagdanand Singh has been a candidate. Sources say that this time the party has decided to make his son MLA Sudhakar Singh the candidate. Sudhakar has got the party symbol, its formal announcement is yet to be made.
