Lakshya 2024: BSP’s ‘Village Chalo’ campaign begins, focus will be on connecting youth and women

Lucknow : After the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, the Bahujan Samaj Party has started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year. BSP has started ‘Village Chalo’ campaign in the state. After the defeat in the municipal elections, the BSP will now focus on the villages. BSP supremo Mayawati has explained the entire outline of this campaign to the party officials. It has been told by him that go to every village and explain to your cadre voters first. Connect those who are scattered.

BSP supremo Mayawati had reviewed the municipal elections last month. He had said that the shortcoming in the civic body elections, now we have to work ahead of that. Complete preparations have to be made till the Lok Sabha elections. The main mantra of the campaign is “Vote Hamara Raj Tumhara, Nahi Chalega”. This campaign will run in every village and people will be connected to it. We have to strengthen the organization till the Lok Sabha elections and get involved in the missionary goal by removing all the shortcomings in the body elections.

BSP coordinators have started meetings for this campaign. BSP people say that every village has been an old voter of BSP. Just have to add it again. In fact, after the assembly elections, the BSP did not get success even in the municipal elections. That’s why now the focus is on the Lok Sabha elections. Under this campaign, the meetings being held in villages are being organized in the style of party founder Kanshi Ram by spreading carpets on the ground. There is no arrangement of chair table in it.

Focus on rural environment

Coordinators have been told to focus on the environment of the villages. See which are their issues on which BSP can work. Especially the youth of the cadre class will have to be connected. Apart from this, teams of women will also have to be formed in the villages. Only then the track will be ready for the Lok Sabha elections.

Mayawati has instructed the office bearers to start work from each mandal and then go to the booth of every village. Sector in-charges have been appointed. It will be decided to form booth committees in the meeting of the sectors. He has said that it should be seen at the booths that how many of the old workers are still active. Show the way out to those who are not working. Add new people and fix responsibilities at the booth.
