After inaugurating the Queen Lake Cruise, CM Yogi Adityanath addressed the crowd present at Taal’s jetty. The Chief Minister said that tourism facilities are being developed in the state as per the vision of PM Modi. The roads are being made fourlane, sixlane, eightlane and twelvelane. Rail and air connectivity is also excellent in UP. CM said that despite this, UP was called a land locked state. But, PM Modi has found a way for this also. Under his guidance, a cruise is being run by building an inland water way in the Ganga river from Varanasi to Haldia. Inland Water Way Authority has also been formed in UP to promote cruise service. CM Yogi said that Gorakhpur has today received a new gift in the form of a cruise equipped with modern facilities. The special thing is that local workers have contributed in preparing this cruise. He said that the better we keep the city, the more the potential for tourism and development will increase and new jobs will also be created. It’s like the cycle of life in a way. Therefore, if there is security and good environment then people from outside will come here. There will be investment in every sector and the state and country will move forward along with the city. The dream of a developed India seen by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by 2047 will come true and there will be prosperity in everyone’s life.

The construction of Lake Queen Cruise has cost more than Rs 12 crore. Facilities like five-star hotels have been developed in the cruise. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes will be available at Lake Queen. Three floors have been built on the cruise with an area of ​​2700 square feet. Apart from this there is also a waiting platform. On the cruise, three halls with a capacity of 150 people and one very special room with a capacity of 15 people have been created. One can enjoy a cruise ride for two hours in one trip.

GDA and Tourism Department should increase water sports activities.

The Chief Minister said that everyone has seen what was the condition of Ramgarhtal six years ago. Now it has become a new tourist destination. Roads and footpaths have been built all around. Seeing the sparkling lights here, people do not even feel that they are in Gorakhpur. He said that to maintain this glow of development, continuous collective efforts are necessary. The Chief Minister also directed Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) and Tourism Department to move forward together to increase water sports activities. At the inauguration ceremony of the cruise, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that this is a proud occasion for Gorakhpur. The lake which was once synonymous with filth and neglect, today cruise service has started there. He said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Tourism Department is continuously developing religious and historical places in every assembly constituency. The Tourism Minister said that people’s perception towards Uttar Pradesh has changed under the leadership of CM Yogi.
