New Delhi : Austrian sports car and motorcycle maker KTM has unveiled the third generation 390 Duke along with 250 Duke and 125 Duke motorcycles in the global market. The 2024 KTM 390 Duke, 250 Duke and 125 Duke come with a comprehensive redesign, sharper styling, new equipment and a new and bigger capacity engine. The new KTM 390 Duke and 125 Duke are expected to be launched in the Indian market during 2024. Let us tell you that KTM is owned by Pier Mobility AG and Bajaj Auto in India. Design
The 2024 KTM 390 Duke, 250 Duke and 125 Duke get redesigned LED headlamps with new boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. The front looks more aggressive, thanks to the new fuel tank design. The side panels have been reshaped and look more muscular, while there is a new split-seat setup, which looks like a wider rider seat. The rear subframe on the new 390 Duke is now exposed. The bike also gets new 5-spoke alloy wheels and overall it should get more commanding road presence than before.

The other major update to the new KTM bike is the new 399 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which will now power the 2024 KTM 390 Duke. The Austrian bike maker has upgraded the transmission from the 373cc single-cylinder unit while the 6-speed gearbox remains the same with slipper clutch and quickshifter. Power figures from the new engine on the 390 Duke are yet to be revealed, but KTM has revealed that the new bike will get a bigger airbox and a new aluminum swingarm like the new-gen RC 390.

The new generation motorcycle flaunts rider aids including launch control, multiple riding modes – street, rain and track and a 5-inch TFT instrument console. The bike will also get a much-awaited feature, turn-by-turn navigation with smartphone connectivity, call/SMS alerts, music controls and more. The motorcycle now also comes with launch control, which is a great addition to the equipment list.

The 2024 KTM 390 Duke also gets new equipment in the form of a new powder-coated steel trellis frame, 43mm USD front fork with rebound and compression adjustability with 150mm of travel and a monoshock at the rear with 150mm of preload and rebound adjustability Get. Braking performance comes from a new 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear with dual-channel and cornering ABS. The 2024 390 Duke also gets Supermoto ABS for the first time. The new 390 Duke rides on lightweight 17-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin tyres, but that could change when the India-spec model arrives.

With the 2024 250 Duke and 125 Duke, the bikes are likely to get almost all the feature and hardware upgrades except for a few features like launch control and cornering ABS. All the three bikes are expected to make it to India sometime next year. It is also expected that the 2024 KTM 390 Duke will go up from the current asking price of Rs.35,000 to Rs.40,000 when it arrives. Also, KTM is expected to unveil the new 200 Duke after a few months.
