Lucknow News: Once again a case of student suicide has come to light in Kota, Rajasthan. This student was a resident of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, many cases of suicide of students preparing for competitive examinations have also come to light in Kota. Some time ago, a student from UP also committed suicide in Kota. Kota, once famous as a coaching hub, is now often in the news as a suicide place for students. So far this year, more than 25 students have committed suicide there.
The student was preparing for NEET
Another student committed suicide in Kota, Rajasthan. This 12th pass student, resident of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, was preparing for NEET in Kota. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Tanveer. It is being told that he was living in Kota for a year and doing self-study. Tanveer lived with his father and sister in Kota. When this incident happened, Tanveer’s sister was also present at home.
Sister saw brother’s hanging body in the room
The incident took place in Kunhadi police station area of Kota. The student’s family lived in a rented house in Krishna Vihar located in Kunhadi area. Tanveer’s father Mohammad Hussain teaches 11th and 12th class students in a coaching institute in Kota. Whereas Tanveer had not taken admission in any coaching center, he was doing self-study. According to the police, when the student committed suicide, his sister was present in the house. He told her that he was going to the room to change his clothes. When Tanveer did not come out for a long time, his sister went into the room and saw that he was hanging from the noose. He immediately informed his father about this. After this the father hurriedly reached home and informed the police about the matter.
Police started investigating with family members
Police is getting information about the case from family members. However, the reason why Tanveer committed suicide is not yet clear. The matter is being investigated. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. No clear reason has yet emerged during interrogation of the family members. If we look at the cases of suicide among students studying in Kota, it is continuously increasing. Such incidents are not showing signs of decreasing.
27 students committed suicide from January to September
Since January this year, 27 students have committed suicide. So far, 9 cases of suicide of students have been reported in the months of August and September. At the same time, a large number of students of UP are also preparing for competitive examinations in Kota. On September 18, a 17-year-old student, resident of Mau district of Uttar Pradesh, committed suicide by consuming poison in Kota. The student was preparing for NEET exam by staying in Kota for one and a half years.
The student’s father had made many serious allegations against the coaching institute after her suicide. He had said that there was a lot of pressure for studies from the coaching institute, due to which his daughter committed suicide. However, these allegations were denied by the institute. The coaching management said the matter was related to love affair. After this, the father declared it completely wrong and filed a case in the police station. He said that every child has a friend circle. In such a situation, it is not appropriate to link it with love relationships. He also accused the coaching institute of intimidating and threatening him.
