Now children will also be able to enjoy cartoon shows while traveling in the metro. This facility is currently available under infotainment North-South Metro Will be available on digital display screen in the intelligence rack. Now along with cartoon shows, entertaining content for children will also be broadcast on the screen. Earlier, only route map and information about stations was given on the digital display screens installed inside the rack and on the screens installed at the station. Those children who are afraid of excessive crowd will benefit more from this facility. Everyone is appreciating this initiative. Daily passengers of the North-South Metro route are considering the initiative of showing cartoon shows as positive.
Know why Metro Railway took this initiative
Kaushik Mitra, Chief Public Relations Officer of Metro Railway, said that many times children become uncomfortable after seeing unknown people in the metro. Sometimes small children also start crying. While their parents get upset due to crying, other passengers also start feeling uncomfortable. In view of this, Metro decided to telecast cartoon shows on screen.

Now cartoon shows will be shown here along with information about metro routes and stations. Passengers enjoyed the show thoroughly on the first day of this arrangement starting from 29 September 2023. Many passengers called and thanked the metro officials for this initiative. A passenger said that there are many schools on this metro route. Therefore, thousands of school students travel in it every day. In such a situation, now they will get a chance to spend some time with ‘Tom and Jerry’ while returning home from schools.
