It has been told in the complaint that since around 11 am on January 19, Saurabh Ganguly’s mobile phone is not being detected from his house on Viren Rai Road. Intali: Three cars and eight bikes destroyed in fire

According to police, Mohammed Shamim (48) and Riazuddin Khan (52) were passing through CGR on a motorcycle when they were hit by a goods vehicle. After the accident, both of them were taken to SSKM Hospital, where Shamim died during treatment. Both were residents of Bhukailash Road.

Girl falls from 11th floor in Joka, loses her life

A girl died after falling from the balcony of the 11th floor of a multi-storey building located on Diamond Harbor Road in Joka area under Thakurpukur police station. The incident occurred around 5.25 am on Saturday morning. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The girl was taken to Vidyasagar State General Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. According to the police, during interrogation of some people of the area it is coming to light that the girl had jumped from the building. However, the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the building is being scrutinized to find out whether the girl fell from the building accidentally or committed suicide or there is some other reason behind the incident. The police have not disclosed the identity of the deceased. She lived in the same building. Suicide note has not been recovered in the case.

Dead body of old man found hanging from noose

The hanging body of an old man was found in Badtala police station area. The incident took place at a house located on Becharam Chatterjee Lane at 7.45 am on Saturday. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the old man to RGKar Medical College and Hospital, where he was confirmed dead. The deceased was identified as Tapas Majumdar (81). The police is investigating the matter.
