Karan Johar is back with the eighth season of his popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. As Karan had promised in the last episode of season 7 that he would be back sooner than ever and apparently, the filmmaker cum host lived up to his promise.
The show has started streaming on October 26 at 12 am and netizens already can’t stop watching it. Streaming of ‘Koffee with Karan 8’ has started on Disney + Hotstar and a new episode will air every Thursday at 12 midnight.
The first episode started with one of the most popular couples of B-Town, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. This is the first time that they have done an interview together after their marriage and it has been five years.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in Italy on November 14, 2018. Ahead of their anniversary in the coming month, the couple finally decided to release their wedding video to the world and it brought most people to tears.
Karan Johar also cried after watching this video and confessed that it made him feel lonely and made him realize what he was missing by being alone!
The couple also made some very candid revelations about their relationship and also talked about their emotional bond with each other. For example, Ranveer and Deepika got secretly engaged in 2015 and he proposed to her on an island in the Maldives. Deepika became emotional and immediately said yes. Three years later, they got married!
Although this episode of Ranveer and Deepika has got everyone excited, but netizens believe that this is one of the best episodes of the show. They are now looking forward to more episodes and guests.
Although no official announcement has been made regarding the guest list or any major reveals, several reports have suggested some impressive pairs of upcoming guests.
Reportedly, Ajay Devgan will be seen in the show with Rohit Shetty. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt will be seen together on the sofa for the first time. Apart from these, the celebs who are expected to attend include Sunny Deol, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Suhana Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Pandey.
