Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, KK Pathak, who is continuously working towards improving the educational system of Bihar, has now made a new plan regarding the posting of teachers. KK Pathak has asked all the district officials to post teachers of all subjects in the newly upgraded high schools (classes 9 to 12) with zero enrollment in the state. Provided that the recommendation of the same number of teachers in that district is available from the Bihar Public Service Commission. The number of school teachers in such schools can be 10 to 15. In this context, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department has requested the district officials to send proposals to the department for posting of teachers in newly upgraded schools at the Panchayat level. Let us tell you that after the efficiency test of employed teachers and the third phase of teacher appointment, the state is going to get a large number of new teachers.
Demand for appointment proposals from district officials
In a letter written to the district officials, KK Pathak said that if even one student comes in class 9 to 10 and class 11 to 12, then five to seven teachers should compulsorily be sent to the concerned school to teach him. He has also asked the district officials to submit proposals to the departments for posting of teachers in the newly upgraded high schools. Do not delay the posting of teachers in such schools. Unless there is an increase in student enrollment from classes 9 to 12, the teachers sent to those schools will continue to teach in the original middle school.
Schools will be closed if enrollment is not done by 30th September
KK Pathak has advised the district officials that if no student takes admission in any school by September 30, then the department will consider closing those schools. He has also made it clear that if nominations are not received in such schools from April 1 to September 30, then all the school teachers posted here will be transferred to some other school.
Do not wait for nomination for appointment of teachers
KK Pathak has asked the district officials to appoint teachers in schools with zero enrolment. After doing this, wait for enrollment for the next six months of the academic session (from April 1, 2024). The department hopes that by providing teachers to such schools, enrollment will be done there. We should also campaign for nomination through various mediums. Parents should also be motivated to enroll. Let us tell you that 55 thousand teachers have been selected in TRE One and Two for Plus Two schools.
