Delhi Holiday Half-Day : The inauguration of Ayodhya Ram temple and the consecration of Ramlala will take place on January 22 at around 12 noon. To enjoy this event and be a part of the historical moment with the family, the Central Government has given half-day holiday in all the central level institutions. After this, the governments of many states also announced different types of holidays in the state. Now the Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi has also issued a notification and announced a half-day holiday.

There will be holiday in these offices
All government offices in Delhi will remain closed till 2.30 pm on 22 January. It is known that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has submitted a proposal to Lieutenant Governor LG V.K. Saxena in which there was a proposal for half a day’s leave. Delhi LG V.K. Saxena approved closure of all Delhi government offices/ULBs/autonomous bodies/undertakings and boards etc. for half a day on January 22 on the occasion of the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
