Varanasi: In the famous Trilochan Mahadev Temple located in Jaunpur, UP, a couple took seven rounds considering Lord Shiva as a witness. On seeing the couple, a crowd of people gathered. The reason was something like this. In fact, a young man from Varanasi fell in love with an Italian girl in such a way that both of them fell in love and got married.
They got married in Georgia. But the young man is a resident of Varanasi. That’s why after marriage, the young man took his wife to India. Here in the Trilochan Mahadev temple of Jaunpur, both of them visited Lord Shiva and offered prayers. During this, both of them also got their photos taken which went viral on social media as soon as they saw it. Now this couple has become a topic of discussion on social media. Many people were under the impression that the couple got married in the Trilochan Mahadev temple itself.
But Sonu Giri, the head priest of the temple, told that no marriage takes place here without registration. Thousands of visitors come to the temple every day to perform Havan Pujan. The marriages that take place here are registered. As far as the marriage of Akhilesh Vishwakarma and Italy’s Tania in Trilochan Mahadev Temple is concerned, both of them had already married abroad. Both had come here for darshan and worship.
In fact, Akhilesh Vishwakarma, a resident of Karkhianv village in Varanasi district, had gone to Qatar in 2016 after doing a hotel management course. Akhilesh started working as a cabin crew in Qatar Airways there. Akhilesh told that in 2022, he met Tania from Italy at a friend’s birthday party in a hotel in Souk Waqif in Qatar. After that we became close friends. Our meetings increased and then this relationship turned into love.
Akhilesh further told that after this both of us decided to go to a third country and get married. After this, on March 1, 2023, in the presence of his friends, he went to Europe and got married according to the law of the country in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Havan-pujan performed in the marriage couple
Akhilesh came home with his foreign wife a few days ago after having each other. According to religious beliefs, Akhilesh Vishwakarma along with his wife Tania performed puja havan at Dharamshala located in the Trilochan Mahadev Temple complex, a short distance from home.
After the photo of worship havan in the temple premises of the married couple went viral, the marriage of a foreign girl with a young man from Varanasi in Trilochan Mahadev temple started being discussed in the media. According to Hindu customs in the Trilochan Mahadev temple, Akhilesh and Tania’s marriage was claimed or known amidst Vedic chanting. But the Pandit told that this couple had come here just to worship.
Akhilesh’s family is happy to have a daughter-in-law from Italy
At present, the family of the young man and the people of the village are looking very happy after getting the Italian daughter-in-law. Akhilesh told that wife Tania is an English teacher in a school in Qatar. His wish was to see my birthplace Kashi. Then his entry visa was made and then we came to our country and our village. Italy’s Tania is liking the village and the living conditions of the people here.
On the other hand, Tania wants that she should get Indian citizenship soon. Akhilesh tells that Tania’s OCI card will be made after about two years. He will get all the rights of being an Indian except the right to vote. Both will return abroad after a week. On the other hand, Tania told that she likes the food of India very much. Its taste is wonderful. I love the chicken curry, rice and paratha made by husband Akhilesh. Paneer curry in veg is very much liked. The tradition here is amazing.
Tania’s family lives in America
Akhilesh told that Tania was born in Italy. He studied in the Philippines. Tania’s parents and her family live in America. When asked about this, Sonu Giri, the head priest of Trilochan Mahadev Temple, told that Akhilesh Vishwakarma and Tania had come to the temple premises on 19 August. But he has not done any kind of registration regarding the marriage.
