Karnataka: Congress manifesto released, special allowance of Rs 5000 to policemen, promises action on Bajrang Dal

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge released the manifesto regarding the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023. In which the party has promised 200 units of free electricity. Along with this, Rs 3,000 per month has been promised to unemployed graduates and Rs 1,500 per month to unemployed diploma holders for 2 years. During this, former Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar were also present.

What are the special things in the manifesto of Congress

  • Unjust laws made by BJP will be repealed in one year

  • Special allowance of Rs 5000 per month will be given to policemen on night duty

  • Action will be taken on corruption in PWD, irrigation, electricity sector

  • Corruption will be eradicated by bringing a special law

  • Old pension will be implemented for 2006 bari employees

  • Harmony committee will be formed in every panchayat

  • Promise to bring new policy in the state instead of new education policy

  • Travel to be made free for all women in regular KSRTC/BMTC buses
