Kanpur : The bride, who pretended to be an Income Tax officer and lured a policeman into marriage and then extorted Rs 10 lakh, has been arrested. Everyone is left speechless after hearing the exploits of this robber bride of Kanpur. The cunning woman had married the constable by pretending to be a fake income tax officer. After this, a fraud worth lakhs of rupees was carried out. After the constable’s report, the police have arrested the woman in the case. The accused woman is married. He also has two children from his first marriage. The accused woman sometimes used to tell people her name differently as Shivangi Sisodia, Pinky Gautam, Savita Shastri etc. According to media reports, Nazirabad police has arrested a robber bride who was fraudulently marrying a police constable and extorting money by posing as a fake Income Tax officer. Police investigation has so far revealed that the accused woman and the constable had become friends through social media in 2016. The real name of the woman is said to be Shivangi Sisodia. She is a resident of Kanpur-Jhansi road near Khushipura court. Presently she is living in Ekta Apartment of Ranjit Nagar, Kanpur.

Not only this, she had brought another Muslim woman as her sister-in-law. The investigation so far has revealed that both were members of the dance group. She had brought him to the wedding as a photographer. Female name is Savita Devi, wife is Brijendra Kumar. She is a resident of Kachhari, Khushipura. She is the daughter of a person named Bihari and is already married. She is the mother of two children. After getting information about this, the constable wrote a report to the police and the police arrested the accused woman. Police have recovered citation and trophy received from Income Tax, in which the name of Savita Devi is found written. Also, it has been found out that the woman has undergone sterilization. For this, medical examination of the woman will be done. The police have registered a case on charges of implicate in a false case, breach of trust, fraud etc.
