Kanpur: Work on the second phase of Anandeshwar Temple Corridor will start from January 2024, the company did the survey, know the details.

Kanpur News: The work of developing Anandeshwar temple located at Paramat as a corridor is going on at a fast pace. The work of the first phase is almost complete. Stones will be installed on the walls by December. With this, the work of the second phase will start in January. The company authorized by the Municipal Corporation has started the survey in the temple. This work will be completed by next week. After this the construction will start from January. The corridor work is to be completed in three phases at a cost of Rs 25 crore. Less than Rs 6 crore is being spent in the first phase. There is a plan to develop Jageshwar Mahadev Temple Azad Nagar, Siddhanath Temple Jajmau, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple and Anandeshwar Temple as corridors. At present, the beautification work of Anandeshwar Temple is being done under the Smart City Mission. Arrangements have been made for widening the road, covering the drain and adequate parking for vehicles from near VIP Road Petrol Pump to the temple. Stones are being laid on the walls. In the second phase, a road is to be constructed on the banks of Ganga till the temple complex.

These works will be done for beautification

Under the plan, a grand main gate of the temple will be built in Kanpur. A place is also to be made on the banks for Ganga Aarti. An elevated path will be built from the main entrance of the temple to the right side of the Ganga up to the stairs of the temple. Aarti place and selfie point will also be built on this. This route will be built keeping in mind the flood that occurred in Ganga in 2010 so that if such a flood ever occurs, this route will not be filled with flood water. Safety railing will also be built on it. LED lights will also be installed so that it is bathed in milky light as soon as evening approaches. The road from the main gate to Green Park Stadium will also be improved. All these works will be done in the second phase. In the third phase, convention center and other facilities will be developed.

Encroachment will be removed from main gate to Trishul

Shopkeepers have now set up their shops from the main gate to the Trishul gate. In such a situation, it is difficult to reach there. Firstly, the shopkeepers have moved their shops forward and secondly, animals also roam on this route. People keep coming and going inside with two wheelers. This also causes problems. To solve these problems, the project ‘Move Occupancy Mukti’ of the corridor has also been included.
