Kanpur: Vice Chancellor took strict steps for better discipline in CSJMU, so far action has been taken against 24 students

Kanpur : Vice Chancellor has taken strict steps to improve discipline in Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University. Strict action is being taken against the students who indulge in chaos, abusing or fighting in or around the university. This is the first time, action has been taken against 24 students including three students for indiscipline in 20 days. In this, many students have also been suspended for six months. So there many students have been expelled from the entire course itself.

Action will be taken on indiscipline

Students of various courses conducted in CSJMU used to clash many times over trivial matters and used to indulge in abusive and fighting. The incidents were increasing due to lack of proper action. In view of this, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. On the instructions of Vinay Kumar Pathak, the Proctorial Board conducted an inquiry and the Registrar has started taking strict action. Action has been taken against eight engineering students, one journalism student, eight BBA students, two BCA students, one pharmacy student and one MSc microbiology student in May. University Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav said that strict action will be taken against the students who commit indiscipline.

Organize virtual meeting

CSJMU’s School of Basic Sciences and School of Engineering & Technology has organized a training session on Virtual Laboratory to train the faculty members under the direction of Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak. In this program, two experts from IIT Kanpur, Sheetal Singh, Project Engineer Virtual Lab, Suman Tripathi, Senior Project Associate have given training to perform Virtual Lab. While addressing the participants, he explained how engineering and science laboratories are conducted with the help of simulations. Faculty members of Science and Engineering participated in this training session.
