Kanpur. Now every Monday, the disputes between husband and wife will be settled in every police station of Kanpur Police Commissionerate. This work will be done with the help of counselors. It started from Hanumant Vihar police station on Monday. Under Mission Shakti Phase 4, counseling centers have been started in police stations. ADCP Ankita Sharma said that till now this system was available only in women police stations. Due to which people coming from far away places had to face a lot of problems. ADCP said that now every Monday from morning to evening the disputes will be resolved through counselling.

ADCP South said that for this effort, elite people from various fields, doctors, retired officers, engineers and social workers have been kept as counselors. This takes into account the seriousness of the incident and what the victim wants. Work will be done accordingly. In case of any domestic violence or extreme assault or serious incident, an FIR will be registered first. After that, if the victim wishes, counseling will be done. Minor disputes will be settled with the help of counselling.
