Kanpur News: Traffic around Panki temple will remain changed on Budhwa Mangal, this is the plan of traffic police

Kanpur: Due to Budhwa Mangal, there has been a change in the traffic around the ancient Panki Hanuman temple of Kanpur on 26th September. Lakhs of devotees from far away places come to visit Panki temple in Budhwa Mangal. On Budhwa Mangal (September 26), DCP Traffic has diverted traffic on nearby routes around Panki Temple. This arrangement will be effective from 8 pm on September 25, which will remain in force till Wednesday morning.

This will be the diversion of the city

●Vehicles coming from Kalyanpur will not be able to go beyond Awas Vikas Canal Panki towards Shatabdi Gate Panki Temple. Awas Vikas Canal will reach the destination from Panki via Armapur Canal Tiraha or MIG Tiraha.

● No heavy or light vehicle will be able to go to Panki Canal from Panki Road Chowki Police Station Kalyanpur. This vehicle will reach its destination via double culvert Vijay Nagar.

● No vehicle will be able to go towards Panki temple from Bhatia Tiraha.

● Vehicles from Kalpi Road will not be able to go towards Panki Temple via Panki Dham station.

● No vehicle will be able to go from Narayana College intersection towards Shatabdi Dwar Tiraha.

● No vehicle will be able to go towards Panki temple from Panki stop Gangaganj crossing.

● Vehicles will not be able to go from Bhaunti Bypass intersection towards Vijay Nagar intersection and from Vijay Nagar intersection towards Bhaunti Bypass intersection. These vehicles will go to the destination from Bhaunti Bypass via LML intersection via Dadanagar, Vijay Nagar intersection.

Vehicles will enter the city like this

●Devotees going to Panki temple from Kanpur Dehat via Thana Sachendi Bhaunti bypass intersection will reach the temple on the left from Panki stop Gangaganj crossing from Bhaunti intersection. Vehicle parking spaces will be parked on both sides of Gangaganj Marg before Station Road Tiraha or on the footpaths available on the routes linked to this route.

●Devotees coming from Hamirpur, Fatehpur and Unnao who have to come towards the temple complex via Ghantaghar Square, Ramadevi Square, Naubasta and Vijay Nagar Square, those vehicles will go from Bhatia Tirahe to the right temple and via Station Road to the temple complex.

●All the devotees who will go to the temple complex from Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Farrukhabad via Kalyanpur, will park their vehicles at Ramlila Maidan located at MIG Road and Sabzi Mandi intersection via Housing Development Canal Panki from Kalyanpur.

●Devotees going towards the temple via Shivali Rasulabad road via Jawaharpuram Shatabdi Nagar Ratanpur will park their vehicles on both sides of the road from Narayana College intersection till Shatabdi Nagar Road intersection.

There will be parking of vehicles here

Reserve for VVIP and essential services at the west gate of the temple, road near Kamal Memorial School, Kua Talab Road, lane along the railway crossing, both sides of the road from Shatabdi Road Tiraha to Ratanpur Road, lane in front of Shukla Guest House, vegetable Mandi Road, Ramlila Maidan, Panki Gangaganj Crossing Marg.

Surveillance will be done through CCTV

The police have geared up to prepare for the security of Panki temple and surrounding areas on Budhwa Mangal. Force will be deployed at every nook and corner under the leadership of 5 ADCPs. And 50 CC TV cameras will monitor the entire area. Dog squad and bomb disposal squad are investigating the temple premises. Besides, rooftop commandos will also be deployed on tall buildings. ADCP Lakhan Yadav inspected the premises and surrounding areas regarding the preparations for Budhwa Mangal in Panki Temple.

For the security of the temple, five ADCPs, 9 ACPs, 12 Inspectors, 49 Sub Inspectors, 9 women Sub Inspectors, 255 constables, 45 women constables, 25 home guards will be deployed for security. Besides, police teams are also running checking campaign in nearby hotels Dharamshala including Panki Dham railway station.
