Kanpur News: ‘One UP, One Card’ facility started in e-city buses, passengers will get this much percentage discount in fare.

The passengers traveling daily in e-city buses of Kanpur city have got great facilities on Diwali. Now the facility of common mobility card has been started in e-buses. On purchasing bus tickets with this card, passengers will also get 10 percent discount on fare. Passengers will be able to get this mobility card from the bus conductor. The facility of common mobility card issued under One UP One Card has started with the first 1000 cards in the city. Passengers will get this card free of cost. After taking the card, passengers will have to recharge it with Rs 100 for the first time. All card related facilities like getting the card, recharging the card and other facilities will be available through the conductor on duty in the bus. Apart from the conductor, the card can also be obtained from E-Bus Depot Ahirwan and E-Bus Depot Fazalganj.

It can be used in metro also

Chief Operating Officer DB Singh said that passengers traveling with this card will find the fare 10 percent cheaper. Apart from this, the card will help the passengers to get rid of the frequent problems of small money. Officials say that apart from e-city buses and CNG buses, passengers will soon be able to use this card in metro also. In this way, this one card will be useful in all public transport facilities of the city. No kind of certificate will be required to get the card.

Will be valid in 14 cities of the state

Divisional Commissioner Amit Gupta has given a gift to the city residents on the occasion of Diwali. To provide the facility of cashless travel in e-buses, One UP-One Card (Common Mobility Card) was launched. This card will be valid in all the 14 districts of the state where e-buses are currently running. Ten percent discount on fare will also be available on this card. At present 99 e-buses are running in the city. 17000-18000 passengers travel in these buses every day. This card will provide relief to the conductors and the card holders will travel at ten percent less fare. The card can be recharged in multiples of Rs 100-100. There will be no extra charge for recharging.
