Kanpur News: Julus-e-Mohammadi will pass today under the surveillance of drone cameras, diversion will remain on these routes.

Julus-e-Mohammadi will be held in Kanpur city on Thursday under tight police guard. The Commissionerate Police has completed all preparations for the event. Paramilitary, RAF, PAC and police personnel along with intelligence cameras will be deployed at every nook and corner on the procession route. Police will take strict action against those spreading any rumor or disturbance.

Regarding the procession-e-Mohammadi, police and local administration teams kept inspecting the procession route throughout the day on Wednesday. JCP Anand Prakash Tiwari gave instructions to DCPs, ADCPs, police stations of all zones and preparations were finalized. To control the crowd on the entire route, barricades were installed at various places. During the procession, 123 drones will capture every activity, which will be monitored from the control room. PTZ cameras and CCTV have already been installed at various places. Besides, the police will also keep a close watch on social media.

Commissionerate appealed

The Police Commissionerate has appealed that no person should participate in the procession carrying an objectionable flag. All Anjumans should deploy adequate number of volunteers. Jamiat, the organization that organizes the procession, has banned the inclusion of any loader, small elephant etc. in the procession. Strict instructions have been given that DJs should not participate in the procession. Police Commissioner Dr. RK Swarnakar said that all the organizers of the procession-e-Mohammadi were appealed to by the Shehar Qazi, Maulvi and religious leaders that the event should remain very disciplined.

There will be diversion on these routes today

● No vehicle will be able to go towards Mulganj from Ghantaghar intersection. Such vehicles will go to their destination via Koparganj or Expressway Road.

● No vehicle will be able to go towards Kotwali from Bada Chauraha. Such vehicles will take a U-turn from Ursala Cut and reach their destination.

● No vehicle will be able to go towards the parade from Ursala Cut. Such vehicles will take a U-turn and go to their destination.

● No vehicles will be able to go towards the parade from Kotwali intersection. Such vehicles will be able to reach their destination passing through major intersections.
